Stellar Solutions is seeking a Sr. Space Systems Integration Program Manager to l
ead and manage the overall program in support of SDA Tranche 3 Systems Integration, ensuring successful execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Join the team getting systems engineering and integration development done at an accelerated pace for a government customer. We are looking for mission focused engineers accustomed to automated engineering, program and task management tools at senior and mid-career levels to anchor our larger team with their core strengths

 

  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the integration of various technical disciplines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient program execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, providing regular status updates, addressing risks, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Manage risk and issue identification, mitigation strategies, and overall program health.
  • Ensure compliance with space acquisition policies and technical standards while leading program planning and execution.
  • Lead and mentor program team members to ensure effective performance and career development.

Required Skills

  • At least 15 years of relevant program management experience, including 10 years focused on space acquisition programs.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex programs, especially in the space industry, with demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in risk management, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.

Required Education:

  • Master’s degree in a technical field or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field combined with an MBA.

  • Position location is Chantilly, VA with consideration for Aurora, CO

The typical pay range for this position is USD $185,000 - $245,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, and a full benefits package including a significant profit-sharing retirement savings plan.
