Stellar Solutions is seeking a Mission Integration Engineering Lead - Airborne/Space Tactical Data Links to l
ead the technical design and implementation of Link 16 tactical data link systems in support of SDA Tranche 3 Systems Integration.

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Join the team getting systems engineering and integration development done at an accelerated pace for a government customer. We are looking for mission focused engineers accustomed to automated engineering, program and task management tools at senior and mid-career levels to anchor our larger team with their core strengths

 

  • Oversee the integration, testing, and validation of Link 16 systems to ensure operational readiness for mission success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Link 16 systems with other space-based and ground-based systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Link 16 systems and their role in tactical communications and data exchange.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration plans, test procedures, and design specifications.
  • Ensure that all Link 16 systems are compliant with mission requirements, performance standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the integration and testing of Link 16 systems.

Required Skills

  • At least 10 years of experience in Link 16 tactical data link systems engineering, with a focus on development, integration, and testing.
  • In-depth understanding of Link 16 systems, including operational use, design principles, and interoperability with other systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience in system integration, testing, and validation.

Required Education:

  • Master’s degree in a technical field

  • Position location is Chantilly, VA with consideration for Aurora, CO

 

The typical pay range for this position is USD $165,000 - $210,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, and a full benefits package including a significant profit-sharing retirement savings plan.
