Stellar Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Software Systems Architect, to contribute to the development, integration, and operationalization of advanced software and space-related systems. This role is essential to helping our customers achieve mission success while leveraging your experience to drive technical excellence across software and systems architecture. Required skills:
5+ years of experience on a space-related Major Defense Acquisition Program (space, ground, software, or hardware).
3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
Experience with conducting or supporting space system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs)
Experience with Cloud IL5 and zero trust implementation
Experience communicating technical concepts clearly to users, leaders, security assessors, and engineers.
Familiar with NIST 800-53
Highly motivated, dynamic work ethic, and a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission.
Ability to create and manage systems-engineering related tasking with minimal program management guidance

This position is full-time, on site in El Segundo, CA
The typical salary range for this position is USD $135,000 - $175,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to salary).
Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
