Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Stellar Solutions is seeking a Senior Enterprise Space Systems (ESS) Crypto Program Integrator to support acquisition strategy, policy tailoring, and cross-program integration of cryptographic modernization efforts. This role ensures enterprise mission success across Space Systems Command while applying proven program management expertise to drive compliance, efficiency, and secure mission delivery. The ideal candidate will also:

 

  • Lead Acquisition Category (ACAT) strategy, Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) preparation, and Request for Proposal (RFP) development; support key decision events and award‑fee activities.
  • Conduct and advise on source selections and technical evaluations, including sole‑source justifications.
  • Develop Service/Defense Acquisition Executive (SAE/DAE) briefings and tailor statutory/regulatory policy for compliance.
  • Apply Middle‑Tier Acquisition (MTA) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) pathways.
  • Coordinate across Space Systems Command (SSC) programs and crypto stakeholders; drive cross‑functional program‑management lifecycle execution.

Required skills:

 

  • 8+ years in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition, program management, and business operations.
  • Demonstrated experience with ACAT strategy/ASP/RFP; source selections/technical evaluations; milestone support.
  • Award Fee Board participation; SAE/DAE briefings; policy tailoring for compliance.
  • Hands‑on with MTA and OTA pathways.
  • Experience with SSC programs; familiarity with cryptographic stakeholders and processes.
  • Program‑management lifecycle leadership; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Additional desired qualities and compentencies:

  • Agile exposure; military command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR); strong familiarity with the DoD acquisition system.
  • Master’s degree; Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA)/Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level I+ (or equivalent).

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

 

Location

This position is (Hybrid) , on site in El Segundo, CA 

The typical salary range for this position is USD $135,000 - $185,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to salary).

 

 

Deliverable(s)

Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
