The Business Operations team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support cross-functional operational activities spanning engineering programs, business operations, and mission execution

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

This role will provide hands-on exposure to how complex technical programs are coordinated, tracked, and supported across the enterprise while working closely with operations, program teams, and leadership.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Integrated Operations teams with day-to-day program and operational activities
  • Assist with tracking schedules, deliverables, risks, and action items across projects
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and briefings using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Help document and improve internal processes and workflows
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions
  • Review data sets and metrics to support decision-making
  • Assist with special projects focused on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, business, and program teams

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to organize complex information
  • Proven ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and propose solutions
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works with a sense of urgency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Compensation

  • $28 per hour (USD) for Summer 2026 internship positions

Deliverable(s)

Work with the Business Operations team to develop and complete a set of updated operational dashboards and process documentation that improve visibility, coordination, and execution across programs.
