Stellar Solutions is seeking a GPS Ground Systems Subject Matter Expert to support the modernization and operational transition of the GPS control segment, including integration of the Next Generation Operational Control System (OCX) and future OCX Block 3F capabilities supporting GPS IIIF satellites.
This role will support mission operations integration, ground system engineering, and operational transition activities as the Space Force transitions from legacy ground systems to the modernized OCX architecture.
Provide subject matter expertise supporting the Next Generation Operational Control System (OCX) including system integration, operational readiness activities, cybersecurity posture, and ground architecture improvements.
Support engineering and integration of the GPS control segment including Master Control Stations, Monitor Stations, Ground Antennas, and satellite command and telemetry systems.
Support planning and execution of Satellite Control Authority (SCA), Transition to Operations (TTO), Operational Acceptance (OA), Initial Operational Capability (IOC), and Full Operational Capability (FOC).
Support development and execution of end-to-end testing across the GPS enterprise including integration test planning, operational readiness exercises, system validation, and mission rehearsal activities.
Provide engineering expertise in satellite command and telemetry systems, ground system architecture, networked control systems, ground-to-space communications, and ground software systems.

This position is expected to be on site in El Segundo, CA and will require travel up to 25% of time within the continental United States
Compensation:
The typical salary range for this position is USD $150,000 - $175,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to annual salary).
Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
